Longest trip: As long as needed (new rental agreements may be required for extended rentals).

Yes. Discounts are available for longer rentals:
— 7+ days – 5% off
— 15+ days – 10% off
— 30+ days – 15% off
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a $150 refundable deposit is required.
How are sales tax, coupons, and additional fees applied?
A 7.38% sales tax is applied to all rentals. Coupons and additional fees are itemized at the time of booking.
How many miles are included with the rental?
250 miles per day included
Unlimited mileage packages are available for an additional fee (contact for details).
What are the charges for exceeding the included mileage?
Additional miles are billed at $0.25 per mile.
What are your standard business hours?
7:00 AM – 9:00 PM, daily
What delivery locations do you offer, and what are the fees for each?
Chris’s Cool Breeze Car Rental does not normally provide delivery, but may consider it with advanced notice.
— Within 25 miles: $50 for rentals under a week; free for rentals a week or more

What are the allowed pick-up and return times?
Pick-up and return times are determined on a case-by-case basis. Please call to discuss.
Is there a specific schedule for custom deliveries?
Yes. Custom deliveries must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and approved.
Do you allow pick-ups and returns outside business hours?
Yes, with advance notice.
Are there any important extra details renters should know?
— Young Driver Fee: $200 (approval required)
— Prepaid Gas Option: $55 (return empty)
— Refueling Fee: $15 + cost of fuel

Do you offer additional equipment or services? Are there any related fees?
Yes. Car seats may be provided for $5 per trip, per seat (advance notice required).
What is the cost for an additional driver?
There is no cost for additional drivers. However, the original renter must be present at both pick-up and return.
What are the penalties or fees for smoking in the vehicle?
🚭 Absolutely no smoking (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, vaping, etc.).
Any evidence of smoking will result in a $200 cleaning fee.
Are there any fees associated with EZ Pass or toll usage?
Yes. Renters are responsible for all tolls, tickets, and parking violations accrued during the rental period.
Is there a cleaning fee? Under what conditions is it charged?
We deliver every vehicle clean and ready to drive. Cleaning fees are applied only if the car is returned excessively dirty.
— Moderate Cleaning – $50 (mud, sand, minor spills, small odors)
— Heavy Cleaning – $100 (stains, strong odors, extensive bug debris)
— Severe Cleaning – $150 (steam cleaning or full detailing)
— Pet Hair Removal – $150
— Multiple Issues Cleaning – $250 (when several levels apply)
Special Note: If you take the car to the beach, please clean it before returning. Sand and sunscreen residue will require a full detail, resulting in a $250 charge.
